Fragments from a landscape ... - 2013
... composed of a small clearing carpeted with thick green grass on the edge of a forest lying on the side of a plateau. A narrow path crosses the clearing leading to a small pond. No movement at its surface disturbs the spotless reflection of the surrounding oaks. This site is "the perfect natural meadow". As it has been discarded a while ago, small trees no more than half a man tall, are beginning to grow. The forest is slowly claiming back its space.

Fragmentary
The notion of Landscape is representative of our own perception, our own shortsightedness and inhability to see the "whole picture". A landscape is either what is presented to our sight or a limited piece of land. It is always lacunary. It is a fragment. Our perception is and will remain fragmentary. Our vision of the world is by nature incomplete.
